Calling blockchain smart contracts requires funds: “It is the fuel that allows it to operate”.
Fees compensate miners for their computational efforts in processing and securing transactions on the network. They are fundamental to the blockchain's sustainability, security, and efficiency, ensuring the network remains robust and decentralized.
We offer three plans to start your Blockchain journey: Free, Developer, and Enterprise.
Free Plan
The free plan allows you to start your blockchain journey without any commitment. Just create your BWS account, and you're ready to go.
Using the free plan, you can:
Save up to 1000 files to the IPFS (InterPlanetary File System)
Use all the available Blockchain Solutions targeting test networks and check that your application works as expected at no cost.
Developer Plan
Once you're used to our API platform and checked your app on blockchain testnets, you can upgrade to the Developer Plan, which offers the following:
Saving up to 10k files to the IPFS (InterPlanetary File System)
Use all the available BWS Blockchain Solutions
Target blockchain testnets and mainnets such as Polygon or Ethereum.
Enterprise Plan
Blockchain Web Services is a platform for developers and institutions, offering added-value solutions you can seamlessly start coding. Some of those solutions require a closer relationship and support. We offer the Enterprise plan for those scenarios, giving an extra layer of support to engage together.
As interacting with blockchain requires paying fees, it's important to understand how Blockchain Web Services manage those fees to offer the best user experience to our customers.
In any scenario, we handle all the blockchain complexities. You interact with the blockchain(s) we support by using our simplified API, and you don't need to worry about anything other than naming the blockchain you want to use.
If you're under the Free Plan, you can test our blockchain solutions for free by using Mumbai or Sepolia test networks.
You can run 100 blockchain transactions for free.
We use our own token pools to pay for the network fees, and you are not charged.
When you move to the Developer Plan,
You can run 1000 testnet transactions for free.
When running on main networks, we do real-time trading, convert US dollars to the required network token, and pay the fees for you. You will then be charged for those fees on your next bill, using 0.01 USD as the minimum billable unit.
There are no blockchain network fees involved in using our IPFS solution.
Pricing Example
Suppose you subscribe to the Developer Plan and want to create 100 new NFTs on the Polygon blockchain using BWS.NFT.zK to create the NFTs, and BWS.IPFS.Upload to save your images to IPFS.
Creating those 100 NFTs will cost you:
Your next bill will show an extra 2 USD to your monthly plan.
HOW MUCH IT COST CALLING A SOLUTION? You can check for Network fees by selecting Cost Estimates on your account menu. You can then easily calculate how much your application will cost.
How do I pay those Fees?
Every time we trade USD to pay for your transaction fees, we add those fees as credit usage to your next bill.
BLOCKCHAIN CREDIT FEE We use the Blockchain Credit Fee as the minimum billable unit, 0.01 USD. If, for example, you spend 2 USD creating NFTs, we will add 200 blockchain credit fee units to your next bill.
To check your current monthly cost, go to the Billing menu and check your credit usage.
